I mentioned in my June 2022 playlist post that I finally feel as though I have some get up and go back in me and some motivation to get back doing the things I enjoy doing. I have spent a bit of time since we arrived back from South Africa reassessing my goals for the year and what I need to do to achieve them.
Goals for 2022
- Read 22 books
- Blog consistently
- Publish YouTube videos consistently
- Be more aware of what I eat
- Exercise more frequently
- Conscious purchases
- Make more of an effort with studying
In order to get back on track with my goals for this year I have set myself a few goals to work towards:
1. Finish reading: Run Rose Run, Happy Sexy Millionaire, Write It All Down, Keep Going: 10 Ways to Stay Creative & Not A Diet Book.
I have started several books rather than finishing the ones I have started so I plan to actually get all of my currently reading books finished this month.
2. Publish 12 blog posts
I intend to get 12 blog posts published this month. I want to make sure that they are of a high quality and whilst I have the time available to put into this I want to make sure that I am making the most of it.
3. Upload 4 YouTube videos
I really made the most of being able to take A LOT of photos and videos while we were in South Africa but I want to make sure I actually do something with them so I will be making sure that I get editing and uploading some YouTube videos.
4. Be more aware of what I eat
I really made good progress with this whilst we were in South Africa especially when it came to eating the right things concerning my coeliac disease. I have definitely seen an improvement in my health and I want to make sure this continues.
5. Exercise more frequently
This is definitely going to have to be a priority as I have registered to do the Race for Life with Marysia in July plus it will do my overall health good to ensure that I am exercising more. I plan to schedule time into my day to exercise so that I can’t put it off.
6. Conscious purchases
I have definitely improved with this throughout this year overall but from this month going forward this is even more important as we will be starting the process to buy a house. I also plan on having a look through everything a having a proper clear out and cut back on some of my belongings before the moving process starts.
7. Make more of an effort with studying
My course doesn’t restart until October however my textbooks will be arriving in the next month or so which means I want to get my filing system organised and create a section within notion for my two new modules.
